03 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
→ Coffee Mixture
05 - 1/2 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee, cooled
06 - 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur (optional)
→ Assembly
07 - 12-14 ladyfinger biscuits, cut to fit shot glasses
08 - Unsweetened cocoa powder, for dusting
09 - Dark chocolate shavings (optional)
# How to Make:
01 - Whisk mascarpone, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until smooth.
02 - Using a separate bowl, beat heavy cream until medium peaks form.
03 - Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully incorporated.
04 - Mix cooled espresso and coffee liqueur in a shallow dish.
05 - Quickly dip each ladyfinger piece into the coffee mixture; avoid soaking.
06 - Place a dipped ladyfinger at the bottom of each shot glass.
07 - Spoon or pipe mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers in each glass.
08 - Add another dipped ladyfinger and mascarpone cream layer on top.
09 - Smooth the surface and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
10 - Dust the tops with cocoa powder and optionally garnish with dark chocolate shavings before serving.
